At Ban Phanom, women mobbed us with their weaving, draping it over us so we could not escape. Back to the camera is Paul Mahoney, and the other man was Michel, a French coopérant living in Luang Prabang. I still have 3-4 pieces of cloth that I bought there, and one of them looks like the one on Paul’s shoulder.
