Photos from several trips in the direction of Ban Keun (east of Phon Hong on the Luang Prabang road). I often made these shorter trips with Paul Mahoney.  His bike was a monster Honda 90. Once, going round a stony bend, I skidded and fell off (which was not an unusual occurrence). Paul was behind me and almost ran over my head. Paul, amigo, thanks for avoiding my trusty skull!
